Job Title: Senior Social Worker

Job Summary:

Hampshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families, working closely with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert social work services to children and families, including assessments, plans, and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of social work policies and procedures.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior social workers.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Registered with Social Work England with at least three years' experience.
  • Highly skilled at building meaningful relationships with children and families.
  • Ability to work creatively and flexibly to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
