Communications Professional

We're seeking a skilled Communications, Events and Recognition Specialist to join our Colleague Voice team at our Head Office in Bradford.
This role will focus on internal communications, event planning, and colleague recognition. You'll plan, draft, and refine content to deliver both communications projects and events that support the engagement of colleagues and the business' key messages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally across the team and with key stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver engaging communications and events that convey key messages to diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to build plans and activities that foster colleagues' understanding and recognition.
- Establish relationships with internal stakeholders to advise them on effective communication methods, event execution, and colleague recognition strategies.
- Evaluate messages to ensure consistency with Morrisons' priorities, tone of voice, and brand.
- Source and share news and initiatives internally through various channels.
- Ensure projects and activities are efficient, delivering results within budget.
Job Specifications:
We're looking for someone with experience in a communication, events, and recognition role who possesses good project management, organisation, and delivery skills. This individual should be able to coordinate and prioritise workload for multiple projects, multitask in an organised manner, and have a keen eye for detail.
A strong written and oral communicator, this person should be confident in crafting well-judged, convincing messages. They should also be willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will think strategically, considering the wider implications of business and communications activities, and identify opportunities to maximise engagement.
