Job Title: Maintenance Specialist

Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Velocity Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing all planned and reactive maintenance tasks for the GE Vernova contract located in Stafford.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to all buildings, plant and production equipment.
* Participate in an on-call rota as part of a dynamic team.
* Conduct fault diagnosis and repairs on electrical equipment with precision and care.
* Develop and implement effective controls within the Permit to Work systems and LOTO processes.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure adherence to Method Statements and Risk Assessments for safe working practices.
* Support engineering subcontractors to guarantee their compliance with contractual commitments and site operating processes.
* Maintain logbooks, shift handovers, and client reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
* Identify potential hazards and report them promptly.

Person Specification:
* Hold electrical qualifications from a reputable institution (NVQ/C&Gs).
* Possess experience in multi-skilled disciplines, including mechanical, fabric, water hygiene, painting, and carpentry. This is desirable but not essential.
* Demonstrate comprehensive electrical experience, undertaking both reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
* Showcase excellent fault-finding skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
