We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Inspector to join our team. As a Senior Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting mobile and mechanical equipment/apparatus within the renewable energy sector, food manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, banking, retail, power and utilities, including nuclear, automotive, public sector mobile plant, emergency services, transport, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting site equipment (Lift - MEWP's, Cranes, FLT's, pressure systems) to ensure compliance with current UK regs (e.g. LOLER & PUWER).
  • Writing and delivering reporting documentation on all inspections undertaken for the client.
  • Identifying any change recommendations to the client, as per UK regs.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure that inspection activities are integrated into the overall project/site plans.
  • Being the point of contact for external clients, offering advice when required.
  • Advising on Health & Safety whilst on sites, when offering recommendations and providing reports.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering - NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent).
  • 3rd party Inspection experience.
  • 3 years working experience, within the UK.
  • Clean UK driving license.
  • Independent inspection qualifications/tickets desirable.
