Job Description

We are looking for a Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Miramar Care Home. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal care to residents, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with their personal hygiene, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
  • Monitor and manage clinical risk areas in residents, escalating any identified risks in a timely manner.
  • Build strong relationships with residents and their families, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Contribute to the development of care plans, ensuring that individual needs are met.
Requirements
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrate initiative and respect towards residents and other people in the home.
  • Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
  • Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including comprehensive training and development opportunities, a thorough induction program, and a supportive working environment. This role also requires a DBS Disclosure check, which will be met by Avery Healthcare Group Ltd.
