We are seeking a talented Associate Planning Director to join our team at The Planner Jobs Redactive Publishing Limited. As a key member of our planning team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and managing planning projects from inception to completion.

As an Associate Planning Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing a diverse portfolio of planning projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. You will provide expert advice and guidance on planning matters to clients and internal teams, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities, and oversee the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals, and policy representations.

You will also contribute to business development initiatives, including proposal writing and client presentations. To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Town Planning or a related field, Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI), and proven experience in a senior planning role, preferably within a consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of planning projects
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on planning matters
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals, and policy representations
  • Contribute to business development initiatives

Requirements:

  • Degree in Town Planning or a related field
  • Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)
  • Proven experience in a senior planning role, preferably within a consultancy environment
  • Strong knowledge of the UK planning system, regulations, and policies
  • Excellent project management skills
