Job Overview

This role involves providing technical support and training services to customers in the EMEA/APAC region, ensuring their experience with Avon Protection's products is premium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety/health, first responder, industrial, or military products, with a focus on respiratory protection and related equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver 'Train the Trainer' courses for customer-facing staff to support Level I, II, and II+ training in the field.
  • Develop and deliver content for external courses on Levels I, II, II+, and III training in the field.
  • Provide technical service and support for customers experiencing warranty or maintenance issues with their products.
  • Support Avon Protection's internal service centre in achieving best-in-class service practices around Helmet, Thermal Imaging, and Respiratory product lines.
  • Clean, maintain, and test T&E (Trial and Evaluation) and training equipment to provide support for the EMEA/APAC region.
  • Capture customer feedback and relay it to relevant internal parties.
  • Liaise with the Customer Service Commercial Specialist to ensure compliance of exported goods and technical information.
  • Work within the Service Centre, establishing operational and HSE protocols, conducting routine services, repairs, and updates.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience with safety/health, first responder, industrial, or military products; RPE preferred.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated presentation creation ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical training and train others to do so.
  • Ability to work in a technical environment, overcoming language barriers, and working through translators as necessary.
  • Experience servicing and maintaining equipment.
  • Confident Microsoft Office and PowerPoint user.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
