Finance Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our team at Cellular Agriculture Ltd. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in supporting the Senior Finance Manager in delivering the complete finance function for the whole business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Senior Finance Manager to deliver financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Prepare management accounts to help run the business, including financial modeling for exits, investor fundraising, and company budgeting.
  • Ensure the company is compliant with taxes and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and report back on the company's financial performance.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate or master's degree in accounting and finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Desire to develop expertise within the accounting and finance field, with a focus on UK Corporation Tax, VAT, Payroll taxes, Payment Management, Internal Audit, Statutory Accounts, Management Accounting, Financial Modelling, and Investment fundraising.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a small team, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
