Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Disability Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and learning disabilities.

Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning sessions to students with SEN and learning disabilities. You will work closely with colleagues and external partners to develop effective relationships and contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching sessions that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the creation of innovative curriculum materials and resources that support functional skills programmes.

Requirements:
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS)
- Experience of teaching students with SEN and learning disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of functional skills curricula and assessment processes
