In this role, you will combine technical knowledge with exceptional sales skills as a Sales Engineer/Business Development Manager, dealing with people in an engineering environment and managing customer requirements.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • Establish new and maintain existing relationships with customers
  • Deal with people in an engineering environment
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements
  • Persuade clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
  • Negotiate and close sales by agreeing terms and conditions
  • Offer after-sales support
  • Prepare sales forecasts and reports for head office
  • Meet regular sales targets
  • Record and maintain client contact data
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team
  • Solve client problems

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is around £45,000-£60,000 per year, depending on experience. Bonus dependent on company goals being set and achieved. Car, laptop, and phone provided.
