Graduate Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking dedicated and passionate graduates to support young people with varying disabilities in their learning journey. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting and supporting students within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and support with the development and learning of students within the school
- Work alongside other teaching and support staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment is maintained
- Be responsible for ensuring school policies are upheld, including behavior policies
- Manage behavior, with Team Teach training offered
- In certain schools, aspects of personal care and moving and handling may be required
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who possess a patient and understanding approach, an interest and passion in supporting SEND students to achieve better outcomes, and a flexible approach and open nature. Existing experience working with children or adults with SEND is preferred but not essential. Team Teach or Moving and Handling training is also preferred but not essential.
