About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Dementia Care Specialist. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with individuals affected by dementia and their carers, providing specialist nursing expertise and support.

The successful candidate will possess post-registration clinical experience working with people with dementia and their carers/supporters in different settings. Experience of completing holistic nursing assessments, providing bio-psycho social interventions, and facilitating training sessions is essential.

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong communication skills, ability to work autonomously, and commitment to continued professional development. We offer a comprehensive in-house training program, career progression opportunities, and a supportive environment for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist nursing assessment, evidence-based intervention, practical advice, and emotional support to family carers of people with dementia.
  • Offer expertise and guidance to professional colleagues, the general public, and others in supporting family and relationship-centred approaches and best practice in dementia care.
