About Us: Media Contacts Ltd is a leading midsize consumer PR agency specialising in travel and hospitality PR.

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Account Manager to join our fantastic team. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Account Executive ready for a step up or an already established JAM to take on a new challenge.

About the Role: As a Junior Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing PR campaigns for our prestigious clients, fostering media relationships, and delivering impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute PR Strategies: Assist in the development and execution of innovative PR strategies and campaigns for travel and hospitality clients.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
  • PR Materials and Reporting: Write and distribute press releases, pitches, and other PR materials. Monitor media coverage and create comprehensive reports for clients.
  • Client Support: Support senior team members with client management and account administration.
  • Event Planning: Organize and attend client events, press trips, and other promotional activities.
  • Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and identify new PR opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in PR, ideally within the travel and hospitality sector.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Media Relationships: Proven ability to build and maintain media relationships.
  • Creative Mindset: A creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
