Lead Mechanical Design and Analysis Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join our expanding team in Nottingham on a full-time, permanent basis. Our client, a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, is proud to support and nurture their employees, giving them opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage projects effectively to ensure the coordination of technical elements is achieved to meet project targets.
- Provide full line management responsibilities for the Mechanical team, supporting the growth and development of junior, intermediate, and senior engineers.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legal and technical regulations, codes of practice, or guidelines.
- Deliver designs within the planned programme for projects and within budget.
- Provide exceptional proficiency in mechanical building services design and a deep comprehension of technical requirements, legislation, and industry best practice.
- Exercise financial oversight, monitoring project expenditure against established targets.
- Lead the Mechanical Team, provide guidance, and act as a mentor to the team.
- Provide professional and technical expertise and advice to all internal and external customers as required, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Professionally qualified to degree level or equivalent.
- Proficiency in REVIT.
- Prior experience in a similar Mechanical Design Engineer role working within another consultancy in the built environment.
