Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team on an interim basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily duties, including 3D design and detailing using Autodesk Inventor, supporting calculations within the design team, and designing heavy to medium industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components using Autodesk Inventor
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate and efficient design solutions
  • Conduct calculations and analysis to support design decisions
  • Report to the design team lead and project manager
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of materials handling and heavy engineering disciplines
  • Expertise in Autodesk Inventor and its applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Qualified to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
