About the RoleThis is an ideal opportunity for individuals with career aspirations in teaching, psychology, social work, probation services, or care. You will have the chance to gain experience supporting children with challenging behaviour, ADHD, Autism, and developed mental health issues.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties and help them understand instructions.
- Assist in implementing individual learning plans and supporting students during social activities and outings.
- Encourage communication and manage challenging behaviour.
- Work alongside teachers and the SEN team to create a positive learning environment.
To be successful as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you should have an understanding of challenging behaviour and be able to develop strong, positive relationships with children. You will also have the opportunity to benefit from comprehensive training and development and a generous holiday allowance.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
