Job Title: Rail Fleet Maintenance Specialist

Manpower Group (UK) has partnered with Northern Ireland's public transport provider to recruit a Rail Fleet Maintenance Specialist who will oversee the maintenance and renewal of a fleet of traction and rolling stock vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver asset renewal programmes for heavy maintenance and overhaul of traction and rolling stock.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping of material and labour costs for heavy maintenance and overhaul programmes.
  • Provide support in the development, production, and delivery of a budget for the Main Workshops.
  • Line management of workshop engineering staff in line with Company and Legislative standards.
  • Implement and expand safety systems within the Workshops.
  • Management of ISO9000 Quality System.
Requirements:
  • Qualified HNC/HND or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in the rail or heavy engineering sector with experience of maintenance on vehicles/complex machinery.
  • Ideally experience with quality/safety management systems and continuous improvement.
  • Project management experience.
