Product Launch and Delivery Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join our Global Product Strategy & Development (GPSD) team at Capital Group. As a Project Manager in GPSD's Product Launch and Delivery, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of investment vehicle product launches and material product changes through effective planning, organization, communication, implementation, and management of corresponding project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to develop and analyze options to solve strategic business problems as it relates to product launches and product changes, including product management and implementation of regulatory obligations.
- Partner with stakeholders to recommend appropriate approaches for solving business challenges and ensuring alignment with global product priorities.
- Develop subject matter expertise in detailed end-to-end product launch processes and requirements and understand the impacts to the various enterprise teams.
- Continually look for ways to scale product launch capabilities, identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, and contribute to the development of GPSD's launch and delivery center of excellence.
- Partner with GPSD leaders to lead, develop, and oversee delivery of a portfolio of product development and launch initiatives aligned to strategic business plans.
Requirements
- A minimum of seven years of project management experience with a track record of successful execution of assigned projects to deliver business outcomes based on key drivers (i.e., time, budget, resources, scope).
- Experience working in the asset management industry (e.g., mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, collective investment trusts, private funds) and/or familiarity with a wide variety of investment products and vehicles, including UCITS Funds.
- Experience working with product development, product planning, and/or product launch, leading successful business or technology enterprise projects from initiation through deployment.
- Skilled communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of stakeholders, including executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to partner cross-functionally to solve complex problems and influence others to add value with a focus on understanding and managing the impact of change.
- Previous success with strategic and/or operational project delivery experience (business strategy, technology systems, vendor management), with the ability to apply and lead flexible delivery models to execute the work.
- Ability to consider long-term impacts and make a personal commitment to exploring diverse perspectives and dissenting viewpoints with a continuous improvement mindset.
