Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant - SEN Support

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a student with Autism in a KS1 or KS2 setting.

About the Role:

  • Work 1:1 with an autistic pupil in KS1 or KS2
  • Create and lead intervention sessions for SEN groups
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Follow pupils' targets in line with their EHCP
  • Monitor pupils' progress

Requirements:

  • Experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant
  • Good understanding of supporting children with autism
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
