Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Stetchford. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and experience working 1:1 with children with ASD.

About the Role:

The role involves supporting a child with ASD on a 1:1 basis in a Year 5 class setting. The child is keen to learn and loves craft, and the school provides additional support for students with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a child with ASD 1:1
  • Assess achievements of pupil
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting children with special needs and has experience working in a similar setting. The successful candidate will be expected to be a permanent member of staff and will be required to work full-time.
