Clinical Psychologist for Refugee Services

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at 455 North London NHS Foundation Trust. As an Assistant Clinical Psychologist, you will work closely with refugee families resettled in the London Borough of Islington, providing holistic assessments and treatment for complex post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and common mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, set up care plans, and provide mental health interventions for patients.
- Work closely with caseworkers, social workers, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Develop and lead workshops and skills groups to empower patients and their families.
- Contribute to the development of the project's goals, objectives, and strategies.
- Collaborate with the clinical leads and service manager to ensure the effective delivery of services.
Requirements: A strong background in clinical psychology, experience working with trauma-informed care, and excellent communication skills. A passion for human rights and social justice is essential.
