**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to fee earners, including carrying out secretarial tasks, managing diaries, arranging appointments and meetings, and maintaining accurate records.
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to fee earners, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
- Financial Management: Assist with financial management tasks, such as disbursements, client balances, and billing requirements.
- Document Preparation: Prepare and proofread legal reports and documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Diary Management: Manage the diaries of all fee earners, arranging internal and external appointments and meetings, and booking meeting rooms or external venues as required.
Requirements:
- Previous Legal Secretary Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary in a similar environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with experience in case management systems.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional prioritising and organisational skills, with the ability to self-manage a large workload in a busy team.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
