We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Trident Group. As a Specialist Mental Health Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing rehabilitation-focused support to individuals with complex and enduring mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality support to individuals, promoting independence and choice.
  • Prompt customers with personal hygiene and appearance as required.
  • Develop and advise on good practice, promoting individual customers' independence and choice.
  • Support customers in preparing and cooking meals, including menu planning and budgeting.
  • Establish and maintain links with other healthcare professionals and agencies.
  • Undertake key-working roles, including regular key-work sessions and review meetings.
  • Promote and uphold Trident Group's policy on Equality and Diversity.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about delivering good quality service to vulnerable adults. You will have experience of working with customers with complex mental health needs, including self-harm, personality disorder, and schizophrenia.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with customers with complex mental health needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a 24-hour rota system.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Experience of partnership-working.
  • Ability to use Microsoft IT programmes.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
