Job Overview

This SEMH Primary School Class Teacher role is based in Sutton, London Borough, and involves working with students aged 6-12 in a Pupil Referral Unit. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality English lessons, fostering a supportive learning environment, and building strong relationships with pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment in small group settings
  • Build strong relationships with pupils to encourage positive behaviour and engagement

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching KS3 or primary-aged students, ideally in a PRU or similar setting
  • A valid DBS on the update service
  • The right to work in the UK
