Opportunity for a Commercial Visionary
We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead the commercial strategy for the new Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities at the University of Oxford. This exciting role will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive commercial plan, managing a range of activities including conferencing, hospitality, commercial hires, food and beverage, and merchandising. The successful candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record in driving growth and increasing profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a commercial strategy to increase revenue and drive growth
- Manage a team to deliver commercial activities, including conferencing, hospitality, and commercial hires
- Explore and develop new and emerging income streams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective delivery of commercial objectives
Requirements
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and proven track record in developing and implementing commercial strategies
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience of managing a team
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to drive growth and increase profitability
