About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher to join our team at New Forest Care Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity for a subject specialist in Maths to make a difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Work in a SEN setting, supporting students with social and emotional behavioural needs.
  • Develop effective communication and relationship-building skills to engage and motivate pupils.
  • Intervene physically, using Team Teach trained techniques, when de-escalation strategies have failed.
  • Improve the quality of pupils' learning through analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Build team commitment with colleagues and engage pupils in the classroom.
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent required.
  • Proven teaching experience.
  • Desire to work in an SEN setting.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to build good relationships.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Full UK driving licence desirable.
