Job Opportunity: Maths and English Tutor

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths and English Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students who require alternative education, providing one-to-one tailored lessons to help them regain their confidence and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, personalised Maths and English lessons to students in a one-to-one setting
  • Work closely with students to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop tailored lesson plans to meet their needs
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and carers
  • Collaborate with the Prospero Teaching team to ensure seamless delivery of services

Requirements:

  • Experience in tutoring Maths and English on a one-to-one or small group basis
  • QTS is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative lesson plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
