Are you a skilled Production Engineer looking to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our team at MARS Recruitment.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our client's team in the Witney area. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and implementing new factory machinery and processes to meet the company's growth targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple continuous improvement and machinery projects simultaneously, with project values ranging from £100k to £1m.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure production and quality targets are met.
  • Develop and implement engineering designs using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing automation teams to improve production efficiency.
  • Utilize MS Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point to create reports and presentations.
Requirements
  • Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or Degree) and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a production engineering role.
  • Proven track record of working with high-volume manufacturing areas with complex products.
  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to develop others through coaching and support.
  • Experience with manufacturing automation and computer-literate.
