About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our client's team in the Witney area. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and implementing new factory machinery and processes to meet the company's growth targets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple continuous improvement and machinery projects simultaneously, with project values ranging from £100k to £1m.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure production and quality targets are met.
- Develop and implement engineering designs using CAD software.
- Collaborate with manufacturing automation teams to improve production efficiency.
- Utilize MS Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point to create reports and presentations.
- Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or Degree) and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a production engineering role.
- Proven track record of working with high-volume manufacturing areas with complex products.
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to develop others through coaching and support.
- Experience with manufacturing automation and computer-literate.
