About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Assistant Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with our qualified and experienced Psychologists to deliver high-quality psychological interventions and support services for adults with complex mental health presentations.
Key Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for working as a fully integrated member of the multidisciplinary team, assisting with service improvement and psychoeducational groups, and supporting the delivery of evidenced-based psychological interventions. The successful candidate will also be expected to conduct individual psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions, and work therapeutically with people experiencing mental health problems.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a good honours degree in psychology, eligibility for graduate membership of the BPS, and previous experience working therapeutically with people experiencing mental health problems. The post holder will also need to have experience of working as a paid Assistant Psychologist in a community setting, delivering individual psychological assessments and interventions, and working within a multi-disciplinary team.
