We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a skilled SENDCo Admin Support professional to join our client's team in Redbridge. As a key member of the SEND department, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Role Overview

The successful candidate will assist the SENDCo with the administration and coordination of SEND services, including the preparation and maintenance of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other SEND documentation. You will also be responsible for managing and updating SEND records, ensuring all data is accurate and compliant with confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the SENDCo
  • Assist in the preparation of IEPs and other SEND documentation
  • Manage SEND records and ensure data accuracy
  • Coordinate communication between staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Support the SENDCo with organizing SEND meetings and preparing reports
  • Help with the scheduling of SEND support sessions and allocation of resources

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven administrative experience, ideally within an educational or SEND environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices in supporting SEND students
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
