We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Student Nurse Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to embark on a rewarding career in nursing, with a focus on working with adults with learning disabilities.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based health and social care that prioritizes the holistic needs of service users. They will carry out specific clinical tasks and responsibilities as delegated by registered practitioners.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, focusing on the individual needs of service users.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, their families, and carers.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are person-centered and tailored to individual needs.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with best practices and guidelines.
- English and Mathematics at GCSE grade C/4 or Functional Skills at level 2.
- Evidence of recent study to level 3. Applicants with previous study at level 4 or higher will be considered on an individual basis.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Experience of working with vulnerable client groups, including those with learning disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
