We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Student Nurse Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to embark on a rewarding career in nursing, with a focus on working with adults with learning disabilities.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based health and social care that focuses on the holistic needs of service users. They will carry out specific clinical tasks and responsibilities as delegated by registered practitioners.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing the needs of individuals with learning disabilities
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for service users
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring individualized and person-centered approaches
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive environment, adhering to Trust policies and procedures
- English and Mathematics at GCSE grade C/4 or Functional Skills at level 2
- Evidence of recent study to level 3, with a focus on healthcare or a related field
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Basic IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience of working with vulnerable individuals, with a focus on learning disabilities
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information and make informed decisions
