About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at BOC Limited, a Linde company. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our sourcing strategy, maximizing supplier productivity, and managing key supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, innovation, and best practices in procurement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar level senior/management procurement role
  • Educated to degree level (MSc/MBA) or equivalent, with a CIPS qualification desirable
  • Proven track record of applying strategic sourcing/procurement skills in a workplace setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach
  • High level of self-motivation, tenacity to drive and deliver results in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent level of commercial and business acumen, with an understanding of the nature of our products and services
  • Proven project management skills, with ability to drive continuous improvements, savings, and best practices
