We are seeking a strategic thinking Procurement Manager to join our Defence sector team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, policies, and processes that enhance our supply chain management and deliver best value to our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our project objectives and requirements.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, sub-contractors, and service providers to ensure best value and compliance with project commitments.
  • Provide market intelligence, cost advice, and supply chain performance management to support our project teams.
  • Support the procurement and estimating team with tendering, market analysis, and supplier selection.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and processes that ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in procurement management, preferably in the construction industry or similar.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of legal and contracting law, risk and opportunity management, and project procurement strategy.
  • Experience of working with CIPS or equivalent, or working towards CIPS certification.
