Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN tutor to provide individualized learning support to students who require alternative educational settings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering tailored learning plans, utilizing therapeutic approaches to re-engage students and promoting their return to mainstream education.

This is a part-time position, with tuition taking place during school hours, five days a week. Regular progress monitoring will occur through weekly reports.

Key Details:

  • Location: within the community or pupils' home
  • Position: SEN Tutor
  • Type of work: Contract
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Pay: £25 per hour
  • Hours: variable, depending on family timings

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience
  • UK classroom teaching experience preferred
  • Be creative, patient and willing to think outside the box
  • Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

Eligibility:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
  • Two professional child-related references

Salary Information: The estimated salary for this role is around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on 20 hours of work per week.
