Tayside Contracts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road Asset Management Partnership Manager to lead our road maintenance partnership. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our adopted road asset, providing a comprehensive range of road maintenance services, and contributing to the formulation and implementation of business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the partnership's road maintenance unit, overseeing access to the adopted network, and ensuring compliance with statutory duties.
- Develop and implement business strategies to deliver high-quality, cost-effective road maintenance services.
- Provide leadership, support, and direction to staff to ensure effective performance delivery of the partnership's key objectives.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of business strategies, including policy development, implementation, and review.
- Operate at a strategic level, leading on corporate initiatives and working effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
- Hold an HNC/SVQ Level 5 or equivalent in a construction-related subject.
- Have significant experience of managing a road maintenance unit at a senior level, with budgetary/financial control responsibility.
- Have experience of working within the roads maintenance industry on the design and construction of roads.
- Be able to operate at a strategic level, lead on corporate initiatives, and work effectively as part of a team.
- Hold a Category B Driving Licence or equivalent entitlement to drive in Great Britain and have access to a motor vehicle.
