SportTechie is a leading sports media startup that explores the intersection of sports and technology. As a Sports Technology Daily Columnist, you will be responsible for covering the latest technological innovations, ideas, and products impacting the fan experience, player performance, and sports industry.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have strong writing, grammar, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and a passion for sports and technology. You will work closely with SportTechie Founders to cover breaking stories where technology is impacting sports.

  • Directly collaborate with the Founder to research and write articles on the day's top sports tech stories.
  • Articles should be concise, well-researched, and engaging, with a word count of no more than 400 words.
  • Assignment deadlines will be communicated by SportTechie Editors each morning or night, with an estimated completion time of 2-5 hours.
  • Must be knowledgeable about the sports industry and able to produce high-quality content within tight deadlines.
  • This is an unpaid role at this time, but we offer flexibility and opportunities for growth.
Requirements

To be successful in this position, you must:

  • Have a flexible schedule and be willing to quickly communicate with our team.
  • Be a regular reader of online news and editorial content, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Have 4-8 hours per week available to devote to covering the sports tech space.
  • Be able to write on a daily basis and synthesize sports technology news.
