Job Title: Security Consultant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Risk Specialist to join our team at XL CATLIN. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing security expertise to programs and AXA XL sub-entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with AXA XL business units to ensure effective security management.
  2. Raise awareness of all security activities and report on risk impact.
  3. Provide Information Security consultancy services including advice for projects, solution design, audit/assurance, and application of security policy, standards, regulation, and good practice.
  4. Support the assessment and interpretation of risk, recommending risk treatment options, tracking, and supporting remediation or acceptance.
  5. Review in-scope project security requirements and evidence provided by the project manager or scrum master to support closure of Secure Project Lifecycle processes where the business units require support.
  6. Liaise between business units to support development of Risk Acknowledgement and Mitigation Plans (RAMPs).

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Excellent knowledge of working within an Agile Framework such as SAFe.
  3. Knowledge of performing project risk assessments.
  4. Experience in performing Information Security technical risk assessments.
  5. Proficient in information security risk and governance frameworks (ISO 27005, EBIOS).
  6. Expert in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  7. Information Security certification (CISSP, CISM or equivalent).
  8. Experience in articulating IS risks in business language and advising on the appropriate risk management action.
  9. Experience in information security management reporting and related methodologies.
