Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to support residents in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide effective support to mitigate potential risks and promote a safe environment.
- Engage with residents through group work and activities that promote therapeutic principles and support their personal growth.
- Provide individual support to residents, empowering them to make informed choices about their future.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support and care.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a mental health setting, with a focus on person-centred approaches and supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
- Ability to prioritize workload, use initiative, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with individuals who have forensic histories is an advantage.
- Proven track record as a supervisor/line manager, with excellent leadership and team management skills.
