We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ER Advisor to join our dynamic team at Distinct. This is a pivotal role where you will be the vital link between our People & Development team and the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior stakeholders to manage a high volume of employee relations (ER) cases with a focus on fairness, consistency, and compliance with policies and employment laws.
- Support management with complex ER issues, providing expert advice that balances risk with business needs.
- Lead the development of tools and training programs that empower line managers to handle ER matters confidently.
- Identify trends through data and proactively design solutions to address potential ER issues.
- Support business change programs, ensuring smooth transitions and effective management of employee relations during times of change.
- Design, review, and update people policies and employment contracts to enhance the employee experience.
Requirements:
- Experience in handling significant TUPE transfers and managing complex caseloads.
- Ability to navigate unionised environments effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in employment law and policy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
