Job Title: Head Pastry Chef

At Fundamental Hospitality, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry section. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality desserts, pastries, and other sweet treats that exceed our guests' expectations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of our pastry team to ensure efficient and effective food preparation.
  2. Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes that showcase your creativity and skill.
  3. Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation in the pastry kitchen.
  4. Train and mentor junior team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  5. Work closely with the Head Chef and other department heads to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a pastry chef or sous chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Culinary arts degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
