We are seeking a skilled and experienced marketer to join our small team at Inner East Community Finance Ltd. As a Marketing and Community Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting our business and the amazing work we do in our local community through our sponsorship and grants program.

Our company, Inner East Community Finance Ltd, is a partnership between our community and Bendigo Bank. We operate Community Bank Inner East, with branches in Ashburton, Balwyn, Canterbury and Surrey Hills, and serve the Inner East Melbourne area. We return up to 60 per cent of our profits back to the local community through our Community Investment Program (sponsorships and grants).

The position is integral to fostering a strong connection between our business and the community we support. You will manage our social media and digital channels, including content production, community engagement, scheduling and analytics. You will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content to promote our Community Investment Program and content to tell the story of the impact our support.

This is a three day a week role with flexibility. We offer flexible working hours and a hybrid work from home and office based structure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing social media and digital channels
  • Content production and community engagement
  • Scheduling and analytics
  • Crafting compelling and engaging content

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or other related disciplines
  • 1+ years of marketing experience
  • Social media management experience (Instagram, Facebook and YouTube) including advertising, reporting and analytics
  • Creative flair for content creation
  • Proficiency in using digital mailing platforms, preferably MailChimp including analytic tools
  • Experience with content management systems, preferably WordPress
  • Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Both an autonomous and collaborative working ability
