Compassionate Support Worker

At Care By Us Ltd, we are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to support our client in every aspect of day-to-day living. Our client is an active 37-year-old female who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 2) and requires assistance with personal care, mobility, and household tasks.
About Our ClientOur client lives alone in her own home and enjoys a very active lifestyle, including playing Powerchair Football once a week, working part-time, going on holidays, and participating in social activities. To support her lifestyle, the successful candidate must be willing to be flexible with working hours.
Key Responsibilities- Assist our client with all aspects of personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support our client with mobility and moving around, using adapted equipment as necessary
- Complete household tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Drive our client's adapted car, holding a valid Full Manual Driving Licence
- No prior care experience is required, but plenty of care, compassion, and resilience are essential
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A willingness to undergo nurse-led training to ensure the highest standards of care
- A competitive salary, estimated at £500 per week, plus a £5,000 welcome bonus upon completion of 100 hours
