About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team at the Cheltenham Trust. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering safe and professional swimming lessons to children and adults of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming participants and promoting a positive image of our facilities
  • Planning and delivering structured lessons, classes, and sessions
  • Overseeing the work of Assistant Instructors
  • Ensuring the health and safety of all participants
  • Monitoring the progress of Swim School students

Requirements:

  • Level 1 or 2 Swim England qualification for Teaching, or STA Qualification for Teaching Swimming
  • Be a confident swimmer and teacher
  • Keen interest in sport, with enthusiasm for keeping fit
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to undertake appropriate training
