The Trust is an independent charity that manages five iconic and contemporary venues at the heart of Cheltenham including the Pittville Pump Room and Heritage Cafe, Cheltenham Town Hall and the Garden Bar, The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum, Leisure at Cheltenham, and the Prince of Wales stadium. We deliver a wide range of services and activities including hires and events, festivals and shows, exhibitions, leisure, cafes and in-house catering.

Leisure at Cheltenham is a community-focused leisure centre. We offer a wide range of fitness facilities, swimming pools (a 33.3 metre swimming pool, teaching pools and a diving pool), sports courts, and recreational areas for our members and guests.

Our swimming team offers a range of swimming lessons, suitable for baby and toddlers, pre-school children through to adult beginners and improvers.

**Role**

We are looking for Swim Instructors to join our team and help us deliver safe, professional swimming lessons to children and adults of all ages and abilities.

We have a variety of classes throughout the day and working hours available from evening sessions, to weekends only and middle of the day sessions. Some of our sessions run from 4-6 pm Monday to Friday and 8-10 am on Saturdays.

**Your duties will include**:

- Welcoming all participants, promoting a positive image of our facilities
- Planning and delivering structured lessons, classes, and sessions
- Overseeing the work of Assistant Instructors
- Ensuring the health and safety of all participants
- Monitoring the progress of Swim School students

**Our Requirements - Swimming Instructor**
- Level 2 Swim England qualification for Teaching, or STA Qualification for Teaching Swimming
- Be a confident swimmer and teacher.
- Keen interest in sport, with enthusiasm for keeping fit
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Willingness to undertake appropriate training, or scheduled training sessions
