Role Overview

At Warner Bros. Discovery, we're looking for a highly skilled Creative Copywriter to join our team in Paris. This is a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of sports-related projects, from campaigns to promotional materials, and make a real impact on our global audience.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop compelling copy for 360-degree campaigns, including on-air promos, posters, and digital banners, for various events and audiences.
  2. Write persuasive copy for social media channels, including Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook, with a deep understanding of each platform's unique characteristics.
  3. Collaborate with designers to produce clear storyboards and craft voiceover texts that are engaging and natural.
  4. Supervise translations and adaptations in all languages to ensure the original meaning, strength, and length are maintained.
  5. Refine and edit internal and third-party copy to fit new mediums while maintaining the desired sentiment.
  6. Play an active role in brainstorming and idea generation with creative directors and managers to conceptualize innovative solutions for global campaigns.
  7. Present and defend creative copy and concepts internally and with external partners and stakeholders.
  8. Brief and guide producers, editors, and sound designers to bring creative concepts to life.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience as a copywriter in a creative agency with advertising, journalism, or web editing experience.
  2. Strong knowledge of sports and TV series, with a good understanding of digital, social, and linear media.
  3. A degree in English Language, Advertising Communication, or a related field is preferred.
  4. Creative, innovative, determined, and persuasive with a deep love for storytelling.
  5. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  6. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
