Job Description
This exciting apprenticeship opportunity is available in our Bristol office, where you will work as a Purchase Ledger Assistant. As a key member of our Accounts Payable team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial functions. This includes overseeing the purchase ledger, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure. You will be studying towards a Professional accounting or taxation technician (level 4) qualification and will benefit from on-the-job training and guidance from experienced professionals.

Our apprenticeship program offers a competitive annual salary of £18,000, reviewed after one year. We also offer opportunities for career advancement and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of the business purchase ledger function
  • Entering supplier invoices into the financial software
  • Obtaining approval for supplier invoices
  • Account reconciliations, such as credit card reconciliations
  • Ensuring all deadlines are met, as well as monitoring the quality and accuracy of the Accounts Payable team's work
  • Responsibility for the Accounts Payable shared inbox

Requirements:
  • GCSE in Maths & English (grade 4-9)
