About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Train Ticket Examiner. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our passengers, ensuring their safety and security while on board our trains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check and issue tickets to passengers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle cash and process card transactions efficiently and securely.
  • Patrol the train and deal with overcrowding, travel, customer issues, and other situations that may arise.
  • Assist passengers with disabilities to board and alight trains, using a portable ramp as required.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage conflict situations constructively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach.
  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to lift and carry a portable ramp weighing up to 15kg.

Selection Process
