We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Train Ticket Examiner. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our passengers, ensuring their safety and security while on board our trains.
Key Responsibilities- Check and issue tickets to passengers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle cash and process card transactions efficiently and securely.
- Patrol the train and deal with overcrowding, travel, customer issues, and other situations that may arise.
- Assist passengers with disabilities to board and alight trains, using a portable ramp as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage conflict situations constructively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach.
- Basic knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Ability to lift and carry a portable ramp weighing up to 15kg.
