We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Railway Ticket Examiner in Dalmuir. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our rail services, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking and issuing tickets to passengers
  • Handling cash and processing card transactions
  • Providing assistance to passengers with disabilities
  • Patrolling the train and dealing with overcrowding, travel, and customer issues

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of rail safety and security procedures
  • Ability to lift and carry a portable ramp weighing up to 15kg
