Job Summary
We're looking for an inspiring and hardworking Sales Representative who will provide exceptional customer service and support our day-to-day operations. As a Sales Representative, you'll work no more than 29 hours per week, supporting our West Region Retail Store located in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store, ask if they need assistance, and provide help when needed in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Remain knowledgeable about and answer questions related to merchandise, sales, promotions, and store policy.
- Provide personalized recommendations based on customers' preferences, needs, and desires.
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers by acting in a friendly and approachable manner during interactions.
- Operate a cash register and perform related tasks, including cash handling, credit card processing, and opening/closing the register when on the first or last shift of the day.
- Straighten, arrange, stock, and dust merchandise, maintain shelving areas as directed by management, and participate in designing displays in windows and on tables.
- Ensure the store is well-maintained and assist with visual merchandising tasks.
- Locate merchandise for customers, placing special orders if necessary.
- Handle refunds, returns, and exchanges with a focus on timeliness and customer service.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Retail Store Assistant in an elevated contemporary brand (highly preferred but not required).
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of merchandise.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexible working hours with weekend availability.
- Interest in fashion.
